The structure that hosts the Bed and Breakfast is right next
to the town hall and faces Via Palazzo di Città.
The town hall is a picturesque building with Roman arches
which demonstrate rarereproduced paintwork from the 500’s.
This artwork describes the passage of the Holy shrowd from
Chamberry to Turin.
In walking distance you can also see the Court buildings ,
shields from Family stems are still visable on the outside of
this building and date back to the 400’s.
Looking west you come to the path which takes you to the rocky
slopes of the castle.
Photographic evidence can be seen of
how this building has changed over the years.
Originally the enterance overlooked the street in the 400’s ,
the original cielings and its wooden beams can still be seen
on the ground floor, the doorway took you to the stairs
through an enerance hall characterizeed by the presence of a
roman colon and a winding staircase that took you down to the
cellars, whose walls still hold mural traces from roman times
and the middle ages.
Today the building is accessed through a door next to the town
hall, passing through a small alley.
The original enterance hall is the reception area used to
greet guests by Anna and Flò.
Peeping through the courtyard of the town hall you can see
rare Decò decorations on the facial walls of the town theatre.
On the left of this building you’ll find us.
Through the wooden doorway you access the staircase from the
600’s that takes you up to the B&B and to the patio.
Notice must be taken of the roman marble colon and wooden
beams both with elegant decorations, and of the hand rail
which dates back to the 800’s..........as you have probably
understood every century has left a mark on this house.
